The musical has eight original songs with a range of styles, including the Latin styles of Cumbia and Salsa. The script and music are written by Chris James and the musical performances and vocals are by Justin Whyte. The musical was published in 2016.

When an exclusive school took a trip into the local poor barrio, the students are confronted by the living conditions of their neighbours.
Can the new-found friendships lead to a better future?
Set in Cali Colombia in the 1980s.
The musical has a focus on social action and engagement making a difference

1. A wealthy Colombian organises an excursion to a poor barrio
2. The school bus is bogged, allowing the students to get to know the children from the Barrio.
3. Meanwhile in the Council Meeting plans are afoot to clear the shanty town for development.

4. Students reflect on their experiences and the friendships they have developed.
05. A tropical ‘aguacero’ raises concerns for the well-being of the residents of the shanty town on the banks of Rio Cauca
06. With the shanty town flooded students effectively lobby for improved facilities for the displaced residents.
